The KAAA committee participated in a 3-day “Marketing & Creativity Event” exhibition held for and by the students of Kuwait University in Kuwait. The exhibition’s opening ceremony was held in the Circle Hall and was presided over by Dr. Wael Al Rashd, Assistant Dean for Research & Consultation at the College of Business Administration of Kuwait University.
The second day was dedicated to teaching students how to create an idea and how to market it for local (Kuwaiti) production. This seminar lasted throughout the day.
All during the last day of the event, an exhibition of KAAA was in session for the purpose of receiving competition registrations in their booth from students, professionals and visitors alike.
The KAAA awards president spoke about the youth’s involvement regarding
creativity in the various fields of advertising and she pointed out that it would be a good starting point for those who are blessed with a creative mind to participate in the KAAA competition. Adding that very soon the KAAA awards were to become available to a wider audience within the Arab region and not only in Kuwait.
She thanked the DIFC for their sponsorship and support of KAAA as well as 4-Films and Al Watan TV and mentioned that all are helping to push their dreams of establishing an Arabic advertising award to become a reality. She called attention to the fact that KAAA have established a very practical database to register students as well as professionals who want to get involved in KAAA’s future events. “Being an artist first must be the new plan for the prospective creative student", she stressed.
